Official Launch and Graduation at the Safadi Accelerated Vocational Training Center

On Wednesday, December 13, 2017 Safadi Foundation held an opening ceremony that launched the first graduating class of the Safadi Accelerated Vocational Training Center (AVTC). As a start, 22 trainees graduated in 13 different professions as part of the project: “Accelerated Vocational Training for the Economic Integration of Tripoli Youth,” funded by the Regional Development and Protection Program in the Middle East-RDPP. The EU funded initiative aims to develop the vocational capacities of youth and to help them integrate both socially and economically, through new job opportunities in Tripoli and the North. This Center was established in accordance with recommendations outlined in the Socio-Economic Participatory Study of the Old City of Tripoli (OCT)—a report published by Safadi Foundation.
